KIE's New Fleet of Cars

Kenya Industrial Estates is keen on enhancing effectiveness of its monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to fast-track projects'

implementation and service delivery in the country. Managing Director Mr.

Julius Mokogi said that effective monitoring and evaluation of projects is necessary to ensure that they become success stories.

The permanent secretary for the ministry of industrialization Dr. Eng. Cyrus Njiru said that the vehicles will go a long way towards enabling K.I.E branches execute the company's core mandate, enhance efficiency and reach clients. The permanent secretary flagged-off 5 Toyota Avansa's worth 12 million to various branches which include Homabay, Kericho, Kisii, Malindi and Thika.

This new fleet of cars comes as an addition to already existing cars in K.I.E to support branches in their day to day activities. The PS asked officers that will be in-charge of the vehicles to take good care of them and ensure that they served their intended purpose.
